nothing in your life is happening out of order
Meditation practices can bring another level of calm and focus to your life. So many studies are coming out now that show the impact of being still and focusing on breathing and being in the moment. You become more aware of stressors and how to manage them and your ability to crush challenges in a more calm state is enhanced.
But we move through lives full of scheduled activities, deadlines and to-do-lists. Who has time sit and ” do nothing” ? Everyone!!
I get it. I am the typical A-Type-live-by-my-schedule, personality. BUT I’ve also found taking 10 min to just “be” brings more of a sense of accomplishment than any checklist.
A cool way I started this path was signing up for Deepak and Oprah’s free 21 day meditation experiences through their app to try something new for 3 weeks. It’s a great way to try a guided meditation with the experts. Maybe it becomes a habit or maybe you get one message that sticks with you and changes your perspective. No matter what, you’ll get something out of it… and in only a few minutes a day.
